As an introduction, I am Whisper. Well, it's Whisper for short. The full length of the name I was gifted was The Whisperer. But do you have any idea just how hard it is to have someone understand you are adding another Er to the word on purpose? Thus, it's Whisper for short.
I am not a train hopper, a housie, yuppie or even a schwilly kid. I am a simple traveler that follows the wind and directs with my thumb. As of this point in time I have two puppies that I have rescued from an emaciated mother. The runt of the litter and the largest of the litter are the ones that I have. Loki is the runt, Beast/Thor is the larger of the two. I have had them since they were six weeks old and they are now healthy and strong and travel ready at four months. There have been some bumps in the road to raising them but I feel they will be stronger for it.
Another 'label' to use for me would be a Rainbow kid. Even though I have only been to the 2011 Washington nationals and a Regional in New Mexico, I have fallen for the ideals and spiritual goals of the Rainbow family and would like to consider myself a part of the whole. At this point I would like to thank all the family I have made, found and will see again on the road to come. I have made this blog for the direct reason of communication with Family. As I have been having a hell of a lot of trouble finding sites that have been updated recently and with the help of my father and a friend of his, they have found one here on blogspot. Luck me! As I have had an account on here for many years and can not believe that I have never thought to check here for any kind of Rainbow related updates.
I dont know where to look for information that is updated regularly enough for me to feel like it isn't out-dated in any way shape form or fashion. Therefore this post and blog is a cry to my rainbow brothers and sisters for direction and an ability to find the right places to look or be involved with groups on all mediums and sources. I do have a facebook, but have had trouble finding the kitchens and people that I know on it due to knowing only nicknames, dubbed names, or true names that arent being used. I am willing to meet new and old family.
I go by Whisper now but in case you met me before I was dubbed the name, I went by Marissa. I used to have a black and white pureblood coonhound and my traveling partner was Kaos, he had the sister to my pup, Tails who appeared to look like a red-bone. I have also traveled with two white pomeranians for a period of time, and I was traveling with someone who goes by Squirrel, or John. Have traveled with my father for a time as well.
If that doesn't jog your memory in the case that you may know me, then feel free to leave a message for me and we can get to know one another. I have an open heart and mind -- however scarred -- and would like to meet family across the states and find ways to give back to the Rainbow Family that has treated me well and greeted me with a warm, open embrace.
A little more about myself, I am empathic in a sense and have a strong desire to heal. Anyone with any knowledge or knowledge of sources for natural and or homeopathic ways to heal and aid the beautiful, torn souls that come to me for help. Any sort of spiritual or other kinds of guidance are welcomed as well. As I would love to find more ways to help the people and the world around me as I make my travels. For the time being, I am going to be traveling by myself with my two four month old pups.
An interest I have that I am curious to get feedback about. I know that the Rainbow family is full of all sorts and kinds of people and travelers. So, out of curiosity, what are high-energy places that you know of? What I mean by high-energy is a number of things. As I have heard of Sedona, Idaho Falls, Bear Mountain, and a few other places. Be it energy that is strong from the past of the land, or even just a peculiar feel to the area. I can and will update this page with the places I have been and where I am going.
My two puppies and I will be heading home in a couple of days, bringing love, light and an extra hand to set up for Montana. We will be headed from Houston, Texas to Denver/Boulder, Colorado. Will be in Boulder for an estimation of a week before hitching to Montana where I will meet up with my father and take him home for the first time.
